Are you ready to upgrade to Windows 10?

From 14th January 2020, Windows 7 will still run but will no longer be supported by Microsoft. The main and immediate risk is that there will be no more security updates or patches, leaving your organisation vulnerable to cyber-attacks.

Pacific have partnered with HP to provide an analytical tool which can identify which devices are suitable to migrate from Windows 7 to Windows 10 Pro.

99% of Windows 7 applications should shift to Windows 10 Pro easily which should help you in your transition.

This will identify which machines have suitable memory capacity. RAM and hard drive space (32GB) to run Windows 10 as well as having sufficient processing capabilities.

Should one or more of these areas not be compatible or insufficient, the device will be classified as not suitable for Windows 10 migration. It could be that these devices need more memory, larger hard drives to run Windows 10 or it might be simply that the devices are too old and should be prioritised for replacement.

This is only one small area our Analytic tool provides, along with hardware, software asset management, predictable hardware component failure and ServiceNow helpdesk integration, amongst other features.
